How do we work out our shipping costs?
We charge according to the weight and size of your products. Weight is inclusive of packaging weight. Don’t worry – we’ll let you know your final shipping costs at the checkout before we process your payment.
Please note that we don’t ship outside of Australia.
A note about delivery times
Natural Pet Store uses Australia Post for all our deliveries. Orders are shipped from our warehouse in Sydney. Due to the volume of parcels that go through the Australia Post delivery network, there may be significant delays with your order arriving. We thank you for your understanding and request that you allow up to 14 days for your order to arrive. We do not offer express shipping at this time.
Once orders have been dispatched you’ll be notified by email with a tracking number.
We have no control over delivery times, and we can’t accept responsibility for any delayed or late deliveries.
If there’s no sign of your item/s within 14 days, let us know via email and we’ll help to track it down.
We deliver every day that Australia Post and couriers operate. They do not work public holidays, so please be prepared for delays, particularly around Christmas, New Year and Easter. Christmas and New Year is a particularly busy time of the year for delivery companies so please ensure you order early and stock up.
PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers
Not a problem! Feel free to get your goods delivered to a PO Box or a Parcel Locker. We will ensure your order is sent with Australia Post who can deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
We believe our products speak for themselves, so we don’t feel the need to use fancy packaging or paper. We’re environmentally conscious, so we use plain cardboard boxes that you can reuse, recycle, put in the compost, or leave with your furry friend to entertain themselves.
All of the packaging materials we receive from our trusted suppliers are reused to eliminate unnecessary wastage. We even reuse packaging materials from other local retailers which gives them another life before going into landfill.
Will I need to be home to receive my order?
We understand you can’t be at home all day. Our parcels are often quite heavy and bulky in nature. As a result, many customers prefer their order to be left in a secure location at their premises.
If we send your item via Australia Post, they will take the goods back to your nearest post office for you to collect from there, unless an authority to leave has been given.
If you would like to leave instructions for the courier or Australia Post to leave your goods in a safe location at your premises, preferably close to the front door and hidden from street view, please leave clear instructions in the delivery instructions field of our shopping cart.
If you experience any issues with your delivery, please contact us in writing and we will address any concerns.
Out of Stock Items or Delays in Delivery
Most items are always in stock and are shipped within three (3) business days from the date of payment. If an item is out of stock, or there is a delay in despatch, we will advise you via email within two business days as to when you can expect your delivery. You may cancel your order at any time before it is shipped.
